National Board of Directors

The National Board of Directors for Active 20-30 US & Canada serve actively and on a volunteer basis. The Board is comprised of the President, President-Elect and Immediate Past President, Secretary/Treasurer along with five Directors - each representing a group of clubs - including an International Relations Officer.

In addition to the Board of Directors, committees comprised of members from coast-to- coast work to advance the strategic plan and objectives of Active 20-30.


Tommy Lovell (The Carson Valley #85)

Tommy has been a member of The Carson Valley #85 since 2006.  During that time he has served on the local Board of Directors as President, Vice President, Director, Secretary, as well as leading numerous other projects.  Tommy was the chairman of the 106th annual Carson Valley Days in 2013.  Two years ago he served on the National Board as Region 4 Director. He looks forward to a new challenge and opportunity in the Active 20-30 Club as the National President.

Personally, Tommy has called the Carson Valley home for over twenty years.  He has enjoyed the small town atmosphere and lifelong friendships found in this wonderful community.  Tommy enjoys spending his summer weekends camping in the beautiful Sierra Nevada and fall weekends at Nevada Wolf Pack games.  Tommy is excited for a great year throughout Active 20-30.


Jeff Okrepkie (Santa Rosa #50)

Jeff has been an active member of Santa Rosa #50 since 2010. During that time he has served on the board of directors as well as chaired the Great Escape Suitcase Party and Red, White & BOOM! He has also been elected to serve as 2 nd  Vice-President, 1 st  Vice-President and President of the organization for the Fall 2015 term. Most recently he served as Region 6 Director, charged with representing the San Francisco Bay Area clubs on the National Board.

Jeff grew up in Santa Rosa before leaving to attend Arizona State University and staying in the Valley of the Sun to live for a few years after. He returned home and joined the same 20-30 Club his father was president of in the Fall of 1984.  He also met his wife Stephanie through 20-30 as she is a past president of Redwood Empire #1029, the sister club of #50 in Santa Rosa. Jeff enjoys community volunteering, sports, movies and spending time with his wife and their young son, Tillman.

Monica Uriarte (Petaluma #30)

Monica is the Immediate Past National President has been an active member since 2011, serving San Francisco #4 as President (two terms), Immediate Past-President, Treasurer and Board Member. She is now serving Petaluma #30 as an active member. She has served the national organization as National President, Nationa President-Elect, the PR Committee Chair and she chaired the 2015 National Convention in San Francisco.

Monica is a proud Oregon Duck, having achieved her Bachelor's and Masters' Degrees in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon. She is currently working as a fund development consultant and grant writer for the Alameda County Probation Department and other nonprofit and government clients. She is passionate about supporting organizations in strategic planning, fundraising and effective and efficient operations so they can better achieve their missions. She loves spending time with her husband and member of Santa Rosa #50, Martin, their dog Pepper Potts the Pitt and their two kitties.Together they love Oregon football (Go Ducks!), travelling, and giving back to the community.

Region 1 Director:

Natalia Navas (New York City #1044)

My name is Natalia Navas. I am a chartering member of The Active 20-30 Club of New York City #1044. Prior to that, I was part of the Active 20-30 Club of Brentwood #1037 for two years. My experience in my local clubs has been extensive, occupying board positions more than once. Additionally, along with my board when I served as president of Active 20-30 Club of New York City we began the process of chartering the Active 20-30 Club of Washington D.C. #1046.

I am 30 years of age and currently reside in Brooklyn, New York with my boyfriend Mitchell and my dog, Drogo. I am a third year Doctoral Student and Lecturer at Stony Brook University pursuing a PhD in Sociology; my research broadly includes transnational political processes and immigration. I hold a Bachelor  of Science Degree from Cornell University and a Master of Arts Degree from The CUNY Graduate Center.

In my spare time I like to travel around the world and love to eat. I like to read historical fiction, jog and sometimes run small races. I enjoy playing tennis on the weekends and hanging out with my friends and family. Additionally, I am an avid binge watcher, especially in the winter months. My favorite show (and sci-fi book) is Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire).

Region 2 Director:

Robert Steck (Eugene 920)

Rob takes over as Region 2 Director after having served as President of the Eugene club in the fall of 2015. Rob will be the director for clubs in California, Oregon, and Washington. Among these clubs are the oldest club in Active 20-30, Sacramento #1 and the newest club, the newly rechartered Red Bluff #455.

Region 3 Director:

Ashley Corbett (Valley of the Sun #1028)

Ashley continued on as the Region 3 Director for the upcoming year.  She has been a member of Valley of the Sun Women's Club for the last seven years.  She has held numerous committee positions and for the past year has served as the club's IRO and Sargent of Arms.  Ashley moved out to the Phoenix area over ten years ago after graduating with her Bachelor's in Education from Pennsylvania State University.  She has worked for the Tempe School District as a 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher.  She recently accepted a position as a Language Acquisition Coach for the Instructional Excellence Department after completing her Master's in Instructional Leadership and Administration.  In her down time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her two pups, Boca and Luna, and traveling back east to visit with friends and family.

Region 4 Director:

Chris Forsyth (The Carson Valley #85)

The One Called Bull became an official member in 2005. Several years of watching various friends join Carson Valley #85 and helping with a few events here and there on occasion a moment happened where life no longer seemed to be going in the right direction. That's when the call to serve was answered and the view of the world forever changed.

Bull has held the office of Director, Treasurer and President for Carson Valley #85. He has chaired / co- chaired various fundraisers including Carson Valley Days.

Currently he works for a design & engineering firm doing Design / Drafting and Project Management while moonlighting occasionally as a wannabe DJ.

A goal of his is to do a TED talk about volunteering in today's world and how it's transformed from one generation to the next.

Region 5 Director:

Lisa Wunderlich (Napa #57)

Lisa Wunderlich had been a proud member of the Active 20-30 Club of Napa #57 for over 14 years. She has served as president twice, been a board member multiple times and chaired and co chaired almost every committee/ event in that time. She loves to give back to her community, always with a smile on her face.

When she is not volunteering with 20-30 she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is born and raised in Napa. Only not living there during college when she lived in Santa Barbara for a year and then Italy for a semester abroad. Her love for travel, fashion and the beauty industry led her to becoming a hairdresser and then opening her own business: Wunder Boutique + Salon in late 2015. She has been a hairdresser for over 12 years and loves making people feel and look their best!


Abbey Kronenberg (Valley of the Sun #1028)

Abbey has been an active member of Valley of the Sun #1028 since 2013, serving as her Club’s Vice President of Fundraising, her club’s foundation board secretary and currently serving as the Vice President of her club’s Valley Kids Foundation.   Her favorite role includes serving as VP of Fundraising and chairing her club’s 9 th Annual Wine Soiree which was the most attended and raised the most money in the club’s history.  She has served as signage committee chair numerous times for her club’s annual fundraisers including Wine Soiree and VIVA.   She has also served the national organization by being a member of the Membership Growth and Retention Committee during the last year.   Abbey is excited for her first national role and to serve as National Secretary.

Personally, Abbey has called Arizona home for almost ten years but she is a proud Ohio State Buckeye.  Having received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and her Master’s of Arts in Recreation Management from Kent State University.  She is currently working for a non-profit organization, The Scottsdale Charros and also works with children with disabilities for the City of Scottsdale.   She loves spending time with her family including her niece and nephew and giving back to her community.    Abbey also sits on the board of the Ohio State Alumni Club of Phoenix and is a diehard college football fan.  Abbey looks forward to a great term ahead serving the National Active 20-30 community.


Andrew McDonald (Sacramento #1)

Andrew MacDonald has been an active member of Active 20-30 since 1999.  Originally a member of Carson Valley # 85 Andrew in currently an Active Member of Sacramento # 1.

Both clubs are rich in tradition and Andrew feels blessed to have experienced both.  Andrew quickly gained a respect in Carson Valley by stepping up in just about every position the club had to offer.  Having moved from Canada in July of 1999 the most obvious, and best possible, nic name took hold.  Canada.  While a member for four years Andrew chaired the Carson Valley Days parade three years in a row.

Since moving to Sacramento in 2003 Andrew has continued to serve in just about every role Sacramento #1 has to offer.  Including being treasurer for just about every event and the organization as a whole.  Some of Andrew's favorite positions have been that of Chaplin (5-minutes of prayer and mostly comedy before every meeting) and Spring Party co-chair (Sacramento's oldest and biggest fundraiser).

International Relations Officer:

Andy Bain (Santa Rosa #50)

Andy has a Masters degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. He currently works as a research and development hardware engineer at Keysight Technologies. He is newly married to Sebastopol #63 President-Elect Rachel Anderson.

He joined Active 20-30 upon moving to Santa Rosa in 2010. He has served as a event chair on numerous fundraising and benevolent events in the 7 years he has been part of the organization. He has held multiple leadership roles within Santa Rosa #50, including President in Fall 2013. Last term he served as Treasurer for Active 20-30 International.

In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, golf, camping and hiking. He has a cat.
